On Monday we arrived at the docks early, checked in and filled up water while waiting. The ferry was very quiet so we managed to get an
hour sleep on the crossing.
Once we arrived at Dunkirk we drove West and found an Aire (roadside stop/services) to get our heads down for a few more hours. At the Aire I saw some Asylum seekers getting taken off the back of a lorry and directed towards Calais on foot, crazy to actually see in person.
We drove along the coast and found a little car park near a beach Wimereux and went for a walk later that day towards Ambletause, Matt tested his “ankle camera” in the sea water, that night it was a really nice red sunset over the channel.
