Once the heater was fitted I started to think of ideas for a dining table as this is a requirement to be classed as a motorhome, I wanted to have a table that folded up from the side wall, easy to fold away, space saving and simple. I looked online for ideas and I came across a studio student desk that Ikea sold for £29.99. It was simple to screw to the beams of the van and solid enough to eat at…or use as a deskfor my laptop.
Once I installed the desk it was ready to lay the carpet tiles, my colours were grey and green so my work had loads of spare used ones which were getting thrown away, I laid these using spray adhesive. They looked great and thick to help with insulation.
