I didn’t design my van to have a full on shower/bathroom. After research and feedback from other vanlife travellers I decided to not have a bathroom. I’ve seen vanlifers use showers outside their van so I got to work designing a shower to be installed off the back door which would also be outside.
This would be supported with a LPG portable gas boiler which I found on Ebay, small and easy to use and store away. My idea was to have a fold up shower head from one of the rear doors, this also meant I needed a flat square shower head. I used 2 wall table brackets that allowed the shower head to fold down after use.
The shower curtain fixes to the top using 4 small grip clamps (if I need privacy) but normally wear my shorts.
